Spelt is an ancient grain that gained recognition as early as 8 thousand years before our era. However, it was forgotten for many years, but today, appreciated by specialists, it returns and allows us to enjoy its qualities again.

Properties of spelt pasta
The wealth of nutrients and vitamins makes spelt a grain with beneficial health effects. Silicic acid, dietary fibre, a number of elements and vitamins acting as antioxidants speak for its uniqueness.

Dietary fibre is a substance that promotes effective and healthy weight loss. All thanks to the fact that meals containing its source provide a long feeling of satiety and regulate intestinal function. It also helps regulate blood sugar levels and lowers cholesterol, which is why people suffering from diabetes and those with an increased fraction of bad cholesterol should reach for products containing large amounts of it.

Pasta made from spelt flour is a valuable source of vitamin D, which builds bones and strengthens immunity. Its presence in the diet is essential, just like vitamin E, which, being a strong antioxidant, is considered the vitamin of youth and fertility. It prevents infertility and inhibits the aging processes of cells.
