Swedish Herbs with Wormwood 90.2g Maria Treben

These are original Swedish herbs in a loose form.
INGREDIENTS: 10 g of wormwood, 5 g of myrrh, 0.2 g of saffron, 10 g of senna leaves, 10 g of camphor, 10 g of rhubarb root, 10 g of turmeric root, 10 g of manna, 10 g of theriac, 5 g of ninesilver, 10 g of roots angelica.

The sachet with herbs must be diluted with 38% or 40% alcohol, preferably rye or fruit vodka. The mixture prepared in this way should stay for fourteen days in a warm or sunny place. Remember to mix the contents frequently, preferably by shaking. After fourteen days, the contents should be strained. The tincture prepared in this way is ready for use.

Swedish herbs properties:
According to Maria Treben, herbs should be used in the following ailments: headaches and dizziness, impaired memory (improve brain functions), all eye ailments, pustules and eczema, inflammation of the teeth, mouth, throat, stomach cramps, colic, bloating, constipation, poor digestion and gallbladder pain, tingling, pain and tinnitus in the ears, can facilitate childbirth, are helpful in mastitis, vaginal discharge, menstrual disorders, help in the fight against parasites, jaundice, hemorrhoids, lead out of melancholy and depression, stimulate appetite and digestion.

Suggested use:
Outwardly
To make a compress, depending on the needs, a smaller or larger piece of cotton wool or lignin is taken, moistened with Swedish herbs and applied to the appropriate place, which is previously smeared with marigold ointment or any greasy ointment. A slightly larger piece of plastic foil is applied to this so as not to stain the clothes. At the end, the compress is fixed with a scarf or wrapped with a bandage.
The compress should, depending on the type of disease, act for 2 to 4 hours. If the patient tolerates the compress well, it can also be left overnight. After removing the compress, the skin in the place where it is applied should be powdered. If, despite this, people with very sensitive skin experience irritation, the compress should be used for a shorter time or completely abandoned for some time.

In no case should you forget to moisturize your skin! Alcohol dries her out!
