Rooibos, or African red bush, comes from South Africa, where it is grown in the Cederberg Mountains. The infusion is red and has a pleasant, honey flavour. It does not contain caffeine and tannins, which means that it can be drunk without restrictions, also at bedtime. Rooibos is recommended as a daily drink, also for pregnant women, nursing mothers and children.
