Propolis (or bee putty) is a natural bee product. It is a complex product that bees produce from resins, balsamic, mucous, fatty substances collected from the buds and young shoots of plants and the bark of deciduous trees (poplar, birch, alder) or conifers (fir, pine, spruce). Plant substances are collected by workers’ mandibles, which enrich them with their secretions, then form lumps and transport them to the hive. There, other bees “process” the delivered material: they add wax, pollen and pollen balm, and with them various mechanical impurities (eg hive fragments and dead bees). The ready bee putty is used to strengthen the structure, fill holes and gaps in the hive, and cover the outlet. Thanks to this, the bees are protected against the development of microbes and their home is solid.

PROPOLIS FOR HEALTH:
Propolis drops contain ethanolic propolis extract, which is their main active ingredient. Ethanol extraction is considered to be the most effective, because it is ethanol that dissolves the valuable substances with health-promoting properties contained in the bee putty. These include aromatic acids and esters as well as flavonoid compounds, thanks to which propolis supports the functioning of the immune system. In addition, it exhibits a number of other health-promoting properties, such as antibacterial, antifungal, antiviral and anti-inflammatory. For this reason, it is recommended in conditions of reduced immunity, with recurrent bacterial, viral and fungal infections, as well as supporting inflammation.

The method of preparing the tincture: pour 50 g of propolis with 200 ml of spirit and macerate for a week, stirring daily. Filter through gauze or strainer to obtain a clear liquid.

Application method:
Adults: 40 drops 2-3 times a day. The drops can be dissolved in a little water. Should be taken before or during a meal.

The preparation should not be used by people who are allergic to bee products. Before the first consumption of propolis, it is recommended to perform an allergy test (apply 2-3 drops of the product to the wrist) and observe the body’s reaction. If an allergic reaction is observed after the first use, discontinue use of the product.

A dietary supplement cannot be used as a substitute for a varied diet.

Do not exceed the recommended dose during the day.

Due to the content of ethanol, motor vehicles should not be driven immediately after consumption.

Store at room temperature, out of the reach of small children.
