Common horsetail,
Field horsetail (Equisetum arvense) is a perennial plant of the horsetail family (Equisetaceae).

Do you know that: Horsetail rejuvenates and smoothes wrinkles. Dried horsetail sprouts were used to polish metal and clean tin utensils. Beneficial to humans, horsetail is dangerous to cows and horses.

Herb raw material: herb horsetail – summer barren herb (Herba Equiseti)

Chemical composition: flavonoids (luteolin, apigenin, quercetin and kaempferol), phenolic acids (coffee-tartaric, chlorogenic, protocatechic), minerals (soluble silicon compounds, potassium, magnesium and aluminum salts)

Application: has anti-inflammatory and diuretic properties, prevents the formation of stones in the urinary tract. It stimulates the metabolism, strengthens the walls of blood vessels, and has a gentle haematopoietic effect.
Recommended in postoperative conditions, it has a positive effect on the mucous membranes and has a preventive effect in atherosclerosis.
Horsetail provides the body with silicon and potassium, stimulates connective tissue (collagen), and can be used in rheumatism.
