Callisia fragrans contains very valuable ingredients in its chemical structure – flavonoids such as: iron, chromium, copper. The flavone compounds in Callisia fragrans are rutin, quercetin and kaempferol. They work like vitamin C, which strengthens the larger blood vessels. On the other hand, bioflavonoids seal the sensitive walls of microscopic vessels. Thanks to this, flavonoids support the treatment of hemorrhoids, as well as varicose veins, subcutaneous bleeding and stop the bleeding tendency. Moreover, by inhibiting the oxidation of vitamin C, they increase its effectiveness many times over. In addition to the above-mentioned properties, the flavonoids contained in Callisia fragrans have anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties, therefore they perfectly support the treatment of cuts, bruises and burns.
