Amour Natural Organic Castor Oil (Ricinus communis) 100% Pure

Castor oil is a thick, viscous, rich and astringent oil. It is very soothing and nourishing, as well as being very affective at drawing impurities from the skin. Castor oil is often used for facial cleansing (combined with other carrier oils, typically 30% or less), for deep conditioning hair treatments, and for a naturopathic cleansing technique called ‘liver packing’. After ingestion, it has a laxative effect. Also, can be helpful with constipation. Recommended especially for dry and irritated skin.

Castor oil is derived from castor beans by cold-pressed extraction. If the oil is too thick to use, place the bottle in hot water to gently warm the oil.

Directions for use:

Use for massage and body care. Put it straight away on skin or mix with your favourite cream or lotion.

Add a few drops to a cleanser or dab on facial blemishes to help draw out impurities.

Massage into your hair, start from scalp. Leave for about 30 minutes or if you can for all night, then wash your head. Repeat 1-2 times per week. Can also be used on damaged hair tips.

Can be used as a carrier oil for other oils.
