Spelled is the old, original form of wheat. It was mainly cultivated in the Middle Ages. Spelled coffee is a source of magnesium, iron, potassium, zinc, manganese and copper. Magnesium contributes to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue, helps in the proper functioning of the nervous system and muscles, and maintains healthy bones. Iron is helpful in the production of red blood cells and haemoglobin, and in the proper functioning of the immune system. Potassium supports the maintenance of proper blood pressure, and zinc helps in maintaining proper fertility and reproductive functions, maintaining acid-base balance and maintaining healthy hair, bones, skin and nails. Spelled coffee is a mild, decaffeinated drink that can be prepared in various ways: cold and warm, with milk or sugar, or with spices that will enrich the taste.
